The Complete Story of Luxwav333: From Chaos to Creation, From Sound to Infinity
The Origins
Born on December 30, 1988, Lux’s journey began in a small town in Mississippi. Growing up, he was drawn to computers, games, soccer, and skateboarding, but his mind was always wired for something bigger. He played college soccer for a season at Jones County Junior College before dropping out while studying computer science—because he knew deep down, he wasn’t built for the traditional path.
At 15, a video game changed his life. Through Halo on Xbox, he met Cody Peterson, a friend who would introduce him to a completely different world in Minneapolis. Lux took his first flight at 15, staying with Cody for summers and Christmas breaks. Mississippi felt small. The world felt infinite. He knew he had to escape.
The Wild Years: Hustle, Risk, & Chaos
After leaving college, Lux turned to selling weed, living the fast life—until a heavy dose of LSD shifted everything. Around that time, his cousin Harry, who had joined the Marines, invited him to San Diego. The dream of California was calling.
For two years, Lux ran a mobile dispensary, delivering to patients in San Diego. Life was good—until a road trip to Texas changed everything. He had pounds of weed with him, heading to Dallas for a live performance when his driver got pulled over. 105 mph. Lights flashing. Game over.
The driver snitched. Lux took the fall.
Six months stuck in Texas on non-report probation, working as a locksmith in Houston to stay afloat. Once he was free, there was only one move left—Los Angeles. The dream was calling.
LA: The Real Test Begins
In LA, he met Paimon, part of Wallis Lane—a Grammy-nominated production crew working with Dr. Dre and Drake. Through them, Lux sharpened his skills in engineering, producing, and songwriting. The vision was forming, but life had more lessons to throw at him.
September 30, 2018—the day everything shifted.
Lux woke up with sensorineural hearing loss in one ear and severe dizziness that lasted 93 days. Doctors couldn’t help him. Day 92, he hit a suicidal low point. Day 93, the dizziness disappeared, but his hearing never came back. A spiritual rebirth began.
Then came the call that changed everything.
Dylan Raw, a friend from LA, invited him to open for DaBaby in Lawrence, Massachusetts. What was supposed to be a three-day trip turned into 33 days of music, creation, and forming a collective of six artists. Lux convinced them all to quit their jobs and move to Mississippi to build something real.
They traveled the country, performed 30 shows, and ended up back in LA.
The collective fell apart. Egos. Tension. The weight of the industry. Lux had to start over. Again.
Loss, Love & The Awakening
Through it all, he met Aira, a girl who stood by him during his darkest moments—when his parents passed away. His father in 2022, his mother in 2023. The pain was deep, but it fueled his next transformation.
Their love story had ups and downs. They broke up once, Lux hooked up with someone else, and when Aira came back, she admitted to an encounter too. They tried to rebuild, but Lux’s spiritual awakening pulled them apart.
She wasn’t ready for the path he was stepping into.
So he walked it alone.
